I stayed at Hotel Bonanza for a week while exploring the city. The location was perfect, with everything within walking distance and easy access to the airport for just a 5 US Dollar taxi ride. The Malecon area felt safe and the hotel itself was in a nice part of the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the rooms were spacious, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. They even had Netflix for lazy evenings in. I was impressed by the quality of the hotel and the hospitality of the owner, Johanna. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Ecuador.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was great, just a few minutes walk from the Malecon. It was convenient to explore and enjoy the area during the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided me with all the information I needed about the area and even helped me book a taxi late at night. The room was comfortable and modern, with a brand new AC unit that was silent and efficient. The bar on the ground floor was a nice addition and offered a great place to relax.
There were a few downsides to my stay. The noise level at night was quite high, especially on Saturdays.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The room was spotlessly clean and the A/C worked perfectly. The location was ideal, within walking distance of popular attractions like the Malecón, Las Peñas, and Iguana Park. The owner, Johanna, was incredibly helpful and even invited me to celebrate New Year's Eve with her and her family. Definitely recommend!
Breakfast offerings could be improved.

The location of the hotel was fantastic! It was within walking distance of all the major attractions. I could easily explore the city and visit places like the Malecón, Las Peñas, and the Iguana Park without needing to rely on transportation. Additionally, the room was very clean, which gave me a sense of comfort during my stay.
I did experience a few negatives during my time here. there was some street noise that could be heard in the room, especially during the evenings.
